King Street

We heard a rumor that King Street was a ghost town this Saturday, but you know Charlestonians have been known to exaggerate, present company included. We had to go see for ourselves, and sure enough there was hardly a soul in sight, and the streets looked like they did back in our youth...Four corners of law included. But then we found 77 yr-old Miss Ruth Write with her bountiful display of sweetgrass baskets, we laughed at the fact that it was like being back in the old days...and then this old Model -T ?
