At Charleston Protocol, we like to say hospitality is our hallmark.  We are ambassadors, storytellers and Lowcountry hostesses celebrating and sharing the genteel way of life in the Holy City.

With a lifetime of Charleston experiences and stories behind them, natives and longtime friends Paige Canaday Crone and Wendy Thrower partner to provide an authentic Charleston experience at your next event.  Enrich your time spent in Charleston with us, as we celebrate, appreciate and share Lowcountry traditions, food, culture and Doin’s with a dash of humor.

How we evolved…

​

We believe your trip to Charleston should be much more than touring antebellum homes and visiting local restaurants.  Although these elements are vital, your Charleston journey will be significantly enhanced by the Charleston Protocol experience. Through telling our stories and sharing our way of life, you will learn first-hand what it was like to grow up in the charmed city and get real insight into local history and food culture, as well as Charleston society.

In addition to tour enhancement, we love to share Charleston-inspired items.  Once we learned that our friends, both local and those "from off" wanted to know where they could buy the items we were talking about, we decided it was time to cultivate an appropriate selection of gifts to help tell the Charleston story.  Many items include a story card that explains how this item is woven into Charleston culture.
